BRINGING DEMOCRACY BACK TO HARRISON
End Backroom Deals
Mark Jaffe is committed to restoring trust in Town Hall by ending the insider politics and backroom deals that have defined the current administration.
As Mayor, Mark will ensure full transparency in all town contracts and require open, competitive bidding processes for every project — no more sweetheart deals like the failed projects like the flood-prone apartment complex at 67 Grant Avenue and the unnecessary demolition of the Sollazzo Recreation Center.
Harrison deserves leadership that puts the public interest first

Support Education, Recreation, and Seniors
Mark Jaffe believes that strong communities are built by supporting every generation.
He will be a champion for Harrison’s public schools, ensuring they remain well-funded and protected from overdevelopment and overcrowding. Mark will expand after-school programs, recreational opportunities, and community resources for youth, families, and seniors alike. He is committed to preserving and strengthening religious and cultural programs that enrich town life.
As Mayor, he’ll partner with local colleges to create mentorship and workforce pathways, and work with responsible senior housing developers to ensure that older residents can remain active and engaged in the community they helped build.

Protecting
Our Land and Legacy
Mark Jaffe will stand up to developers and political insiders who treat Harrison’s land like a commodity.
He will never allow sacred spaces, like our cemeteries, to be sold off, paved over, or disrespected. Mark is committed to protecting our cherished parks and open spaces from overdevelopment, preserving the character and natural beauty of Harrison.
He will champion smart growth that respects our environment, reduces flooding risk, and safeguards the town’s historic sites, so future generations can take pride in the legacy we leave behind.

Leadership & Experience We Can Trust
Mark Jaffe brings real leadership and proven results to the table. As an accomplished attorney and CEO of the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce, Mark has spent his career advocating for small businesses, working families, and ethical governance.
His efforts have been recognized by President Joe Biden, State Senator Shelley Mayer, and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Now, he’s ready to put that experience to work for Harrison, delivering results the right way, through transparency, collaboration, and a deep respect for the people he serves.

Clean Water,
Clean Air, Less Traffic
Mark will prioritize the health and well-being of Harrison families by investing in critical infrastructure and environmental protection.
He will complete the long-overdue water filtration plant to ensure residents have access to safe, clean drinking water, and take action to protect our watershed from pollution and overuse.
Mark will advocate for stronger measures to reduce airport-related noise and air pollution, and implement smart traffic solutions to ease congestion on our roads. His goal is simple: a cleaner, healthier Harrison, now and for generations to come.

Public Safety
and Public Planning
Mark knows that safe neighborhoods and strong public services are the foundation of a thriving town.
As Mayor, he will fully fund our police, EMS, firefighters, and Department of Public Works to ensure every Harrison resident feels protected and supported.
But public safety also means public trust — that’s why Mark will establish regular, official Town Hall meetings where residents can voice concerns, share ideas, and help shape the town’s future. He believes in planning with the people, not behind closed doors.
